1983 - New auto gearbox

There where no change made to the exterior, nor the interior, this year.

On the mechanical side there was a new 4-speed automatic gearbox available, with the forth gear being a overdrive. This made a significant improvement on fuel economy for the automatic versions compared to the previous 3-speed gearboxes.
